Student Success Statement
“I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating.”
-Sophocles

Reflection: I believe this quote means that you should do the right thing even though your losing, losing is better than winning and cheating. For example say you’re down 21 to 0 in the last quarter of a game it is better to lose than win by cheating. So you should always do what is right even though you might lose than to cheat and win by a land slide. If you do what is right than you will always win maybe not on the score board but you will win.

“ATTITUDE is the mind’s paintbrush. It can color any situation”
-Anonymous
Reflection: I believe this quote means that if you have a good attitude towards things than you will be a very fun and outgoing person but if you have a bad attitude towards things than you will be a dark and gloomy. For example say your friend wants you to meet someone, if you have a good attitude things will go well but if you have a bad attitude than things will go bad and you won’t become friends. “He who walks with the wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.”
A Proverb

Reflection: I believe this quote means that if you hang around people who always choose the right than you will become like them. If you hang around people who always doing wrong than you will be like them. So it all depends on who you decide to hang around. For example if you hang around people who are smoke, drink, and skip class than you be like them. If you hang around people who are always on time for class, who have good grades than you will be like them.
