 This quote is saying that if you choose the right you will be happy but if you choose the wrong you will be miserable. For example, if you choose the right through out high school you will be happy to graduate but if you choose the wrong and decide to wait 'till the last minute you will not graduate.
In conclusion you should always choose the right instead of the wrong. Choose CTR over CTW because you will be happy if you choose CTR.
